What started as a nice quiet evening in Mokoko Cocktail Bar [St Albans] on the 17th Dec, ended in some crazy dancing at Bar Meze Greek Restaurant after Gemma from accounts decided to spend the 2012 company budget on Cocktails!
It was a fantastic evening with the whole team deservedly letting their hair down after working really hard throughout last year. New girl Sam made an impact with the rest of the team, donning a mankini towards the end of the night and hitting the dance floor.
Hailed as another legendary night which will be talked about around the office for along time. The Hot Office must have made an impact at Bar Meze as at the end of the night the manager announced that he "loved us" - having said that, I think it was more down to the fact that he can now probably afford to take a long holiday after Gemma went through the entire Cocktail menu - at least twice! (she still denies it!)
The Hot Office in St Albans was proud to host a Ready, Steady Cook style event today [11th Oct] in partnership with Pampered Chef to raise money for Breast Cancer Research.
Hot Office Max with his hand picked commis chef Mark Kerrison from NNT Technologies (the Red 'Old' Kitchen) went head-2-head with Hot Office Luke with his apprentice chef Olly Keane from Contrasol (the Green 'Young' Kitchen), donning their aprons to mix up some pretty tasty Mango and Avocado canapes.
Pampered Chefs very own Wendy Jones was on-hand to oversee a good clean fight and of course to keep the boys in order [although there was some food thrown!]
When the food-mixers finally went down and the voting started the Green Kitchen came out easy winners by about 20 votes to 3!! Mark from the Red kitchen commented "Luke & Olly did leave the Mango chutney out of their recipe in error so this was clearly a sympathy vote" (No sour grapes there then!)
It was fantastic fun well supported by the Hot Office clients and most important of all plenty of cash was raised for Breast Cancer Research through donations and the sale of Pampered Chef cooking gadgets & utensils.

Summer madness finally struck on Sat July 23rd at Batchwood dance studios when Cherry, Max and the Hot Office team donned their crop-tops, leg-warmers and glitter for the day to go 'Pop-dancing'!
Popdance is a craze that's sweeping across the nation; essentially once you are appropriately attired (in Max's case in the most embarrassing clothes you can find in your wife's wardrobe!) and the music is chosen, then amazingly the Popdance instructor will choreagraph a complete routine in 3-hours! - that's the theory anyway.
Well Claudia chose Tonight's gonna be a good night by the Black-Eyes Pea's - yes it was all going very well until the music started. We had such a good laugh, mainly at Luke's expense (our Head of Sales).
Max said "well personally I won't be auditioning for Strictly anytime soon, but it has given us some fantastic laughs and created a good bond within the team. Luke is a natural, he professes to be a drummer in a grunge band but I think secretly his real roots are in disco"
Roll on the Christmas Party and remember Keeeeeeeeeeep Dancing!
Embarrassingly you can see the Hot Office Video on YouTube at Hot Office Popdance
& you can get in touch with Popdance to book your very own company team-building event at Popdance.co.uk or call 08444 829 706
Everyone's in high spirits this morning at our Barclays House centre in Aylesbury with the arrival of Red Nose Day!
Well done to Beckie & Katie who are right in the swing and raising lots of money for charity (that's Beckie, our Aylesbury Captain, dressed as a banana! all quite worrying - although she say's she Fairtrade!).
Another fantastic effort by the girls and clients at the Hot Office Aylesbury centre - they are well on their way to raising £150!
The Hot Office team landed in Studio 54 for the night of Sat 11th Dec and were impressively glammed-up and in great form strutting their stuff to hardcore 70s Disco.
Max and Luke had their hands full with 14 'Hot' girls to look after but hey someone had to do it!
Let's say it was an eventful evening with plenty to drink and great entertainment. Highlights on the dance-floor included Saturday Night Fever, Cotton Eyed Joe and Luke's double-time Macarena! I'll leave the rest to your imagination. It was a great night with quite a few bad heads the next day.
PS. Rumour is that Kayleigh didn't stop partying until 4pm! Well there's always one and funny enough ...it's always Kayleigh!
Luke our Head of Sales had a nasty surprise this week [Wk 3 Dec] when he arrived at Spectrum House to find that due to the centre being full he had been moved outside in the frozen wastes!
As always, he took it in his stride and all was going well with his sales calls until some of our residents came out and starting bombarding him with snowballs; we told him it was because they love him really.
Max said "well it seemed to make him work harder to keep warm so it could be the way forward, only problem is that when I need a cuppa I have to shout out of the window to ask him to get the kettle on!"
